About Consystence
Built by people who run plants, for people who run plants.
Consystence grew out of Deftec’s work delivering industrial control systems. It brings reusable equipment definitions, simulation and generated code into one platform.
The origin
Engineering that carries forward to the next site.
Every site has its own layout, instruments and commissioning constraints. Much of its equipment is familiar: pumps, conveyors, crushers, screens and MCC sections. The same control knowledge is often recreated in controller programs, screens, alarm lists and documentation.
The Consystence equipment library draws on Deftec’s production PLC code delivered to Tier-1 Australian miners. It brings the relevant signals, commands, alarms and simulation profiles into reusable definitions, so engineering work can carry forward between systems and sites.
Source library heritage
That field history belongs to the source control library. Consystence is a public-beta platform, with its own workshop verification and commissioning boundaries.
The founder
Garry Thomas
Garry holds engineering degrees in software and electrical engineering. Through Deftec, he has delivered control systems for Australian mining operations and worked across the software, controller and commissioning tasks that connect them.
Consystence is the platform he wanted on those projects: a way to define equipment once, test its control behavior in simulation and generate the artifacts engineers and operators need. That experience shapes the product’s emphasis on explicit data quality, traceable commands and operator control.
Software and site delivery.
Consystence Pty Ltd develops the platform. Hardware, panels and field commissioning remain with Deftec and its partners.
A dam pump station first proved the PLC-to-cloud path on our workshop stack. The coal preparation model extends that work into materials handling and wet processing. See what has been demonstrated →
